Might be said that these versions breathe a little more life into these songs than the official recordings.  Quality is very good.  Don't know much about the program on which this was first broadcast.  Some trader has compiled a list of guests on the program which I've pasted below.  Side note, the "96 Tears" on Aretha Arrives is pretty solid groover.
